The active hurricane season of 2008 gave Fresenius Medical Care the opportunity to publicly demonstrate its commitment to the UltraCare mission by providing rapid response to its patients and to its employees affected by the devastating storms.

This video shows the Fresenius Emergency Preparedness Task Force deployed in Houston during Hurricane Ike to ensure that patients received continuity of care. Fresenius further recognized that the key to restoring vital dialysis services was to help staff members and their families recover from the storm.
