Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA) provides the FMCNA Patient Travel Service to dialysis patients to help set up dialysis treatments during travel away from home.
The Patient Travel Service will:
- Help dialysis patients arrange dialysis treatments when they travel
- The service uses an updated facility database that provides information about all (Fresenius and non-Fresenius) dialysis facilities in the United States and overseas.
- Answer general questions about travel on dialysis (insurance coverage, etc.)
- Help with a permanent dialysis facility change if you move or want to switch facilities.
