Celebrating National Kidney Month
In recognition of National Kidney Month and to inspire people on dialysis to enjoy a healthy diet, dialysis provider Fresenius Medical Care is bringing celebrity Chef Aaron McCargo, Jr. to several U.S. cities. Star of the Food Network show "Big Daddy's House," Chef McCargo will unveil four new locally inspired dialysis recipes and share tips for healthy eating. Fresenius Medical Care is committed to helping people live a better life on dialysis and has partnered with Chef McCargo to show people living with kidney disease that they can enjoy food despite a strict diet.

At each stop, Chef McCargo will visit dialysis clinics to meet with patients and their families and share dialysis-friendly cooking tips, food samples and recipes developed in collaboration with Fresenius Medical Care dietitians. These events are free and open to the public.
Chef McCargo will also share his renal-friendly recipes with health care professionals who provide treatment for dialysis patients. He'll conduct a cooking demonstration on the convention floor at the Annual Dialysis Conference in Seattle, March 10–11 with hundreds of dialysis care professionals in attendance.
