Switch to In-Center Nocturnal Dialysis is a Win-Win

Having recently started in-center nocturnal dialysis, Pat Vitale has more time to spend with his wife Linda.

A retired software engineer in Londonderry, N.H., Pat Vitale has been on dialysis for 15 months. Like most new patients, he started his treatments with in-center hemodialysis, but soon afterwards decided to try in-center nocturnal dialysis. Almost immediately after he made the change, Pat said he noticed several positive changes in his life.

With the longer, slower treatment, he feels noticeably better when it's finished, and he also has more energy and less cramping. Beyond that, his blood work has improved and his phosphorous levels are under control. “It’s a win-win situation,” says Pat.

With more free time during the day, Pat now enjoys working around the house, and spending time with his wife, son and young grandson.
