Patient Travel Services
Travel for business or pleasure is still possible even when you’re on dialysis. It just takes some planning. Your nurse or social worker and our Patient Travel Service will help you arrange treatment wherever you want to go. Our free service will:
- Locate dialysis centers closest to your destination.
- Make reservations at dialysis clinics in the United States and Puerto Rico (with a minimum of four weeks notice).
- Answer general questions about travel on dialysis (insurance coverage, etc.)
- Help with a permanent dialysis facility change if you move or want to switch facilities.
